The Consultation
A nutritional therapy appointment is a structured but collaborative conversation, rather than a quick consultation or a list of generic advice. We take time to explore your health history, current symptoms, lifestyle, diet and any relevant test results, looking for patterns and underlying drivers rather than isolated issues. From there, recommendations are personalised to you and your circumstances, focusing on practical changes that are realistic and sustainable. The emphasis is on clarity and prioritisation, what matters most, what can wait, and what is likely to have the greatest impact — so you leave understanding both the reasoning behind the plan and how it fits into your life.
Note: Testing and supplement costs are not included in the consultation fees. Consultation fees are available on the Booking Page.

Testing
As part of a thorough assessment, I usually suggest a comprehensive blood chemistry panel, arranged either through your GP or privately. This would typically cover markers such as a full blood count, liver and kidney function, inflammation and immune markers, thyroid function, blood sugar regulation, iron status, vitamin B12, folate and vitamin D. Having this information helps to highlight areas that may need medical investigation alongside nutritional support, rather than relying on symptoms alone.
If obtaining these tests via your GP isn’t possible, I can arrange appropriate testing following a discovery call or initial appointment. Depending on what emerges from your consultation, additional functional testing may also be recommended to provide a more detailed picture of your health.
